School

I am a recent graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. I graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry, concentrating in Biochemistry and with a minor in Biology. I also got a B.A. in Philosophy, concentrating in Ethics and Public Policy. In addition to all that fuss, I was a member of the Honors College all four years at VCU. So, if you ever have questions about chemistry, philosophy, or honors at VCU, just ask; I will tell all!

Teaching

At VCU, I taught a section of Organic Chemistry lab. I also volunteered with the VCU Life Science Center’s Outreach Education Center. I really enjoy teaching. I think academia might be the right place for me in the near or distant future. :-)

Research

I did research my sophomore year at VCU in Dr. Sidorov’s organic chemistry lab. My project was on the controlled fusion of liposomes.

Other Stuff

I was a member and past-president of the American Chemical Society Student Affiliate Chapter at VCU.
