About Me
I am a philosophical chemist. I live in Raleigh, NC, and I work for AAIPharma as an analytical chemist. At some point, I would like to go to graduate school to study environmental toxicology and/or environmental chemistry. Because I am a philosophical chemist, I am also interested in such things as distributive justice, ownership of property, non-violent social change, transitional justice, and truth and reconciliation commissions. Every so often I am tormented by the conviction that I have missed my calling to be a penniless political philosopher…perhaps I have…but for now, I’m a penniless chemist.
When I’m not working, I like to bake, swim, read good books, and to do things outdoors (although I can by no means be categorized as “hikey-bikey”). I also like chocolate, tea, and everything bagels. My husband claims I am addicted to ice cream.
I am a Meyers-Briggs type INTP for those of you interested in that kind of stuff.
